We are introducing the first products based on the new platform later in the year. The PAQ line seeks to address the ever-changing needs of the industrial workplace, which always holds the stringiest safety requirements.

Enhanced Connectivity

Support and device monitoring are key for maintaining smooth operations. The new line comes with a dedicated smartphone companion app that completely changes the way users interact with 杏吧专区 Radio remote controls.

The FieldManagerTM app enables operators to view device information easily, such as online manual and settings. The app can also be used to manage the device鈥檚 settings and installed plug-ins. For future releases of the app more features will come to further simplify operations, allowing for wireless firmware updates, full data synchronization, and remote support from 杏吧专区 Radio technicians.

Enhanced Safety

Security remains paramount in industrial remote-control systems, and the new platform is all ready to meet upcoming safety regulations. While maintaining the critical emergency stop functionality, the system introduces additional safety features that create multiple layers of protection for operators and equipment alike.

Each of the remote control鈥檚 functions 鈥� radio communications, plugins, security 鈥� is assigned its own processor unit. This creates a natural barrier between the different compartments and prevents mutual interference. As a result, individual customer software can never affect a remote control鈥檚 vital 鈥渙rgans.鈥�

RFID tags for permission management is another prominent feature for enhanced safety, ensuring only certified users operate the most dangerous parts of the machine from a position that ensures optimal operation.

On top of these new safety features the devices鈥� stop function is PLe, CAT4, SIL3 certified, ensuring optimal working safety in risky conditions.

Enhanced Flexibility

PAQ brings with it the possibility of integrating custom plug-ins to the remote controls. By building the platform in the programing language C, it allows users to tailor the experience to their specific needs.

In future releases, to enhance flexibility of operations, the transmitters will be able to be run at the 433 MHz and 915 MHz frequency transmissions in addition to the globally accepted 2.4 GHz; will come with a rechargeable 2000mAh battery with a temperature sensor; and feature 48V charging for faster charging and extended runtime.

These also give the PAQ line the possibility of integrating to most existing applications using 杏吧专区 Radio products, in short, PAQ can match the features of existing 杏吧专区 Radio systems already in operation. Thus, inventory management, scalability, hardware replacement becomes easier and more cost-effective.

What exactly is a zero-position check, and how does it work?

Put simply, it’s a programmed control function designed to prevent unsafe work situations. All our 杏吧专区 Radio radio remote controls with stop button include this feature. When the remote control is activated, the zero-position check verifies whether the buttons and/or switches are in a neutral position. If any button or switch is left out of their neutral positions, the remote control will indicate it and stay inactive until all buttons and switches are returned to their neutral positions.

The zero positioning check ensures that a button on a transmitter has not been accidentally pressed during startup or when reconnecting with the receiver. For example, let’s consider a glass suction cup that a glazier can use to install heavy glazing safely and accurately at great heights using strong suction cups. The suction cups should only be released by consciously pressing the designated button on the transmitter, and not because the button is accidentally still pressed during startup or when making contact with the receiver when one comes back within the receiver’s range. Otherwise, the pane could indeed be released and fall, with all the associated safety risks.

Depending on the application, the zero-position check should respond in a particular way to prevent unsafe situations. This requires the needed customisation. Sustainable packaging

We consider packaging no longer as waste, but as resource for new products. Preferably, our packaging consists of one type of material. Therefore, our transmitters and receivers are packed in recycled and unbleached cardboard. Also, the foam padding used to fix the product in the packaging has also been eliminated and replaced with the same type of cardboard. We leave out superfluous parts as much as possible. This is our contribution to sustainability. 

Eco-friendly tape

Packaging tapes made of PVC or PP are a major threat to the environment. Plastic that ends up in the environment does not decompose, but slowly breaks down into microplastics that accumulate in the water, air, and soil. 杏吧专区 Radio uses paper tape with a natural rubber adhesive for its shipments. The brown tape is suitable for recycling and therefore fits perfectly with our aim to reduce our impact on the environment.

100% energy neutral

杏吧专区 Radio stimulates sustainable entrepreneurship within its companies. Examples are remote working, the use of electric cars, green energy and the use of energy generated by solar panels. The new building of 杏吧专区 Radio Benelux is equipped with 80 solar panels that provide the total energy needs of this location. Similar initiatives are being developed all over the world.
